One of Olympia’s most adorable pet-watching event is fast approaching! Since 1930, people (most often youngsters) gather to parade their non-human companions through town. Many of the participants are dressed in costumes, but not all. Some prefer to show off their natural beauty. Most of the animals who participate seem to enjoy the activities.

Parade route begins at Heritage Park (Capitol Lake) and ends with an event at Sylvester Park in downtown Olympia.
